We hosted our very first Clubhouse event! If you haven't heard of Clubhouse - it is a social networking app that lets people gather in audio chat rooms to discuss or perform ranging from various genres, whether it’s sports, law, business, wellness, art, music, comedy, etc. Rooms are usually divided into two groups: those who are talking/performing and those who are listening. It is a safe space where a moderator oversees the room and has the ability to let someone chime in or remove any unruly people.
Kahani will be doing a monthly open mic event on Clubhouse where we will feature an artist at each event, but also open the stage for others to perform or showcase their art, music, poetry, and stories. We welcome all creatives, storytellers and listeners.
At our last event, we featured Umer Piracha and Siddharth Ashokkumar from Falsa Music. These two melodious artists left us all speechless with Umer on Vocals and Sid on Carnatic Violin.
