Supporting communities in times of crisis. They know that a nourishing meal in a time of crisis is so much more than a plate of food—it's hope, it's dignity, and it's a sign that someone cares.
Recently, WCK has been on the frontlines in Asheville, North Carolina and Florida feeding residents impacted by Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton. In addition, WCK Relief Teams have been on the ground in the Valencia region of Spain to provide food, potable water, and other support after the worst flooding these communities have seen in decades. They have also been ramping up their meal production in Lebanon from 8,000 meals per day to 20,000 meals a day to address the escalating humanitarian crisis and mounting civilian casualties by
Israel's attacks.
Honoring Their Heroes
World Central Kitchen honors their team members that lost their lives while supporting communities in need especially in conflict zones like Gaza and Ukraine. They were from different corners of the world, but they were all humanitarians on a mission to nourish people in their hardest moments and making the ultimate sacrifice while doing so.
